A great sprint from January 1st up to now (may 13th) has been successful again working with the best clients I can imagine. Very happy I decided for about 5 years NOT to grow and scale up my company anymore, but to stay small with a remote team of experts in the first shell delivering a global remote Marcom department service.
Growing (fast) does burn a lot of cash and personal time - that's what I experienced myself 10 years ago. Aiming to become a good entrepreneur, because of the 'status' and because I thought I had to be.
Now having my own company for almost 20 years, being small and flexible again gives a lot of advantages during the pandemic and turbulent last years. In the last 6 years, I built my company almost exclusively online, and the pandemic WFH (work from home) issue was non-existent for me or the revenue.
Being kind, delivering quality, and skipping bullshit while focussing on the long term works best for me.
